Mood Board Peer Assessment From Ryan Simson - 04/11/11

After looking at my mood board, Ryan said the following:

- My mood board was colourful. He said this was good as it allows you to pick out a variety of colours from the mood board and colours of which I could use in my ancillary texts. Yellow was the colour that he picked out as being a good idea to follow up.

- He also said that the mood board was quite powerful. The pictures and images are quite striking and they make a powerful message of love and loneliness. They could be used to create an effective digi-pack and gain ideas that fit in with our theme of a hidden identity and fitting in with society.

- The images would help me to create the webpage as they are very different representations than you would normally associate with a girl band. They could challenge typical conventions you expect to see with girl bands which would make the artist very unique and stand out from the other existing pop girl bands.

- Using the images will engage the viewing audience as they are unusual. They would fit in with our theme idea of using a world instead of the 'O' of 'Orbit' as we  using an image/object instead of letters. The 'HERE I AM' picture supports this as they use a human eye instead of the letter 'I'.
