Today my group booked the school studio and filmed the performance element of our music video. In this filming shoot we filmed the three girls singing the song into the microphones. We decided to use this as our element of performance as the band would actually be singing this song and we thought the link between the song being recorded and the audience seeing it is quite important and would make them enjoy the video more.
The shoot went quite well and we recorded about five different takes of the song from different angles. This would help us to vary the shots of performance during the video. This will help to keep the audience interested and engaged in our music video.
